At the intersection of Fine Arts & Graphic Design, my works playfully articulate stumbled-upon coincidences and cross-cultural experiences. After graduating from Cornell University's BFA program, I participated in Scholastic's Alliance for Young Artists & Writers Residency and Brooklyn Art Space Recent Graduate Residency for painting. Awarded the Korean Government Scholarship, I received an MFA in Visual Communication Design while living abroad in Seoul and taught design courses at Hongik University and Seoul National University. I was also an Artist in Residence in 2017 at the School of Visual Art's RisoLAB and am currently working as a Visual Designer.
